Lend a hand. The wildlife will thank you.
We're a small charity doing big work, and we run entirely on volunteers. Whether you have an hour a month or a spare paddock, there's a place for you here.
Ways to help
Pick what suits you.
Volunteer at the rescue
Feeding runs, pouch washing, yard cleaning, sewing pouches and liners. Not glamorous — absolutely essential.
Become a wildlife carer
Ready for the real thing? We'll mentor you through raising and releasing your first joey, step by step.
Help at the Coffee Cart
If you can pull a shot or just love a chat, the cart needs friendly faces at events and roadside stops.
Spread the word
Know someone driving the Warrego? Share our traveller advice. It costs nothing and saves lives.
No experience? No problem.
Nobody here was born knowing how to raise a kangaroo. We learned by doing, alongside people who'd done it before. You'll learn the same way — and we'll be right beside you.
